I popped in whilst passing on way home. I used to go here when I lived in the area. It has changed. And not for the better, mind you I have only tried the curry sauce and chips.
The first kicker was asking for 2 chips and curry sauce and being told £7.40. Jesus. I know i don't buy a lot of takeaways anymore on account of not living near any, but is this the going rate? Never mind they better be good!
Got home and was greeted by the sad sight of palid, floppy, greasy chips (looking suspiciously like oven chips trying to masquerade as the cream of the fried potatoes, the chop shop chip). And I believe the chip fairy had taken half the portion whilst I was driving, because it wasn't the size I was expecting (that's what she said). I'm so hungry I just rip open the pot of curry sauce to discover liquid disappointment in a polystyrene tub. How watered down? I ate them anyway, because I had spent £7.40. They basically resembled McCain oven chips that's had gone for a swim in a large pool of crisp n dry. And failed.
Don't waste your money!
